We prescribe and monitor each workout in terms of phases (Warm Up, Endurance, Cool Down etc.), duration (time), target range of watts per phase (power), target heart rate zones, and Rate of Perceived Exertion. This means that you are always know what to do no matter what technology you have on hand.
